Last year Thanaa has undergone her first cochlear implant operation at a cost of R 182.000. She has since progressed so well and it is now time to schedule the second implant.
Unfortunately the price of the device has increased to R 232.000, to which the Medical aid Scheme will only contribute R 100.000.
Fortunately we have found several sponsors to help us with this heavy financial burden.
